課程簡介Course Description

本課程以人造語言為核心，結合語言學、文學與文化研究，引導學生從音韻、構詞、句法與語意等層面，分析語言多樣性、語言結構與藝術創作之關聯。課程以托爾金的魔戒小說作品、影集星際迷航及電影阿凡達中的虛構語言(Sindarin, Klingon and Na’vi)為主要案例，探討語言如何形塑世界觀、歷史感與群體秩序。透過講授語言學基礎理論、實際語料分析與創作練習，培養學生理解語言結構、美學表現與文化意涵的能力，並提升其觀察與比較不同語言系統的素養。同時，引導學生認識不同時空脈絡下的文化系統與文明變遷，深化人文素養、跨文化理解能力與批判思考能力。

    課程目標與學習成效Course Objectives & Learning Outcomes

    （一）使學生能辨識自然語言和人造語言的音系、詞彙構成與句法結構，並說明其設計原理與功能。
    （二）培養學生分析語言結構與虛構世界歷史背景、文化價值之關聯能力。
    （三）訓練學生閱讀與評論藝術文本中語言運用方式，並以書面與口頭形式進行有系統之論述。
    （四）引導學生比較不同作品中的時間觀、文化系統與社會秩序，理解語言、文化發展的多樣性。
    （五）培養學生從語言角度分析族群認同、權力關係與規範機制之能力。
    （六）透過基礎語言設計與創作實作，培養學生整合理論、分析與創意表現的能力。
    完成本課程後，學生將能運用基本語言學概念分析語言之結構與功能，撰寫具論證能力的分析報告，並將語言觀察應用於理解文化現象與當代社會議題，展現兼具專業素養與人文關懷之學習成果。
