本課程旨在研究國際關係之主要理論框架，回顧影響當代大國關係的主要因素。本課程將探究中國與亞太國家間的外交關係。此外，藉由探討美中兩大強權權力競爭，並涵蓋亞太區域安全問題。也會介紹兩岸關係、中日、中韓與中國-東協相關議題。
能力項目說明
本課程選定中國外交相關議題。任課教師將採用不同程度的分析來探討影響中國與鄰近國家之外交關係，包括安全、經濟與軍事問題。本課程設計是為了讓同學理解大國崛起的專業知識。在學習本課程後，能對美中競爭、區域安全與大國外交等議題，有充分認識。
