課程簡介Course Description

This course builds on students' elementary knowledge and aims to advance their speaking, listening, reading, and writing proficiency. Through thematic lessons, students will expand their vocabulary and mastery of grammar to communicate on various topics. Students will practice conversing, presenting information, and expressing opinions. Reading and listening activities based on authentic materials will enhance comprehension skills. Writing exercises will enable students to compose paragraphs and short texts. Students will deepen their understanding of Kyrgyz culture by discussing traditions, values, and contemporary issues.

    Course Objectives:

    • Expand vocabulary pertaining to seasons, world issues, sports, health, technology, travel, etc.
    • Strengthen grammar skills including complex tenses, clauses, cases, etc.
    • Develop conversational fluency and public speaking abilities
    • Improve listening and reading comprehension of authentic materials
    • Enhance writing skills for paragraphs, summaries, letters, etc.
    • Analyze aspects of Kyrgyz culture and make comparisons

    Learning Outcomes:

    By the end of the course, students will be able to:

    • Use expanded vocabulary and advanced grammar in speech and writing
    • Confidently converse with native speakers on familiar topics
    • Comprehend conversations, broadcasts, videos, texts, etc.
    • Make presentations and write organized paragraphs on researched topics
    • Analyze cultural practices, values, and issues based on readings and discussions

    Demonstrate intermediate proficiency overall in Kyrgyz across skills
