The performance of Taiwanese SMEs is renowned world widely. This two-credit-hour course aims to orient students with the basic knowledge about Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), especially those in Taiwan.
Through the two case studies and six company visits, students will have the real experience of what entrepreneurship is and how SMEs operate in Taiwan.

1. understand the definitions and features of small and medium enterprise (SME)
2. learn what entrepreneurship is
3. learn various SME issues through case studies and company visits
