本課程第一部分幫助學生回顧靜電磁學,並用較高等的數學工具解決靜電磁學問題,第二部分開始討論電磁波,了解電磁波在真空、物質中的傳輸,特殊相對論下的電磁現象及馬克斯威爾方程,課程最後介紹一些應用,如波導、量子霍爾效應、量子傳輸。
