Advanced Indonesian Grammar and Writing is an intensive course. The students will practice their grammar knowledge and writing skills in class, individually as well as in pairs and in small groups. They will get acquainted with a wide range of topics as to deepen their understanding of specific Indonesian themes and settings. Through short introductory lectures on specific grammar items and sociocultural aspects of the language the students will develop the practical ability to apply knowledge of grammar and vocabulary in written discourse (on advanced level).

Attendance of the course and active participation in class is mandatory. Students are encouraged to attend well prepared in order to have a fruitful lesson. Weekly homework is a quintessential element of the learning process. Absence (for good reasons) has to be notified before class. Missed classes will have to be made up with an extra assignment.
