    Course Objectives:

    • To introduce students to Turkic peoples' historical origins, geographical distribution, and linguistic features.
    • To examine the shared mythological themes, epic tales, oral traditions, and folklore that shape the cultural identity of Turkic communities.
    • To explore the traditional lifestyles, belief systems, artistic expressions, and literary traditions that have defined Turkic cultures throughout history.
    • To investigate the contemporary challenges and issues faced by Turkic peoples, including cultural preservation, minority rights, and the impact of globalization.
    • To analyze the cultural synthesis, influences, and representations of Turkic groups across different regions, including Central Asia, the Middle East, Europe, Russia, and China.
    • To develop critical thinking, research, and writing skills through in-depth analysis and the completion of a comprehensive essay assignment.
    • Learning Outcomes:

      Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
