本課程旨在探討性/別如何鑲嵌在新媒體的生產和消費之中。

    課程目標與學習成效Course Objectives & Learning Outcomes

    課程分成三大部分:

     

    第一部分討論新媒體作為科技。從基礎的性/別和科技理論切入,探討傳播科技性別化的理論基礎,並從傳播科技相關的各種經驗現象切入,從科學與科技的生產設計、家庭與近用、到工作與金錢生活,在各種社會生活的空間之中指認傳播科技性別化的案例。

     

    第二部分從新媒體作為再現切入,自性別歧視的再現,至酷兒和後女性主義式的再現。這部分的課程將批判的討論新媒體時代性別再現的重要特質。

     

    第三部分探討新媒體作為互動環境,討論傳播科技中介的環境,催生怎樣的性、性別與親密關係互動文化與權力關係。
