The course will explore three areas: teaching, service, and research. The desired learning outcomes include the following points. First, in the realm of teaching, students engage in discussions about teaching philosophies, delve into curriculum crafting, and master classroom management techniques. This ensures they are well-equipped to design and deliver effective educational experiences. Second, in terms of service, the course provides insights into the various facets of academic services, the trajectory of a career in communication, and ways to make meaningful societal contributions. This dimension focuses on the broader roles that scholars play beyond their research and teaching duties. Third, regarding research, students familiarize themselves with global and local trends in communication research. They immerse in research communities, appreciate the essence of scholarly research, and hone their skills in authoring and publishing academic papers, all while upholding the highest standards of research integrity and ethics.

2. Attendance and Participation Guidelines
If you are unable to attend class, please inform the professor via email before the class begins, providing valid evidence to justify your absence. Relaying messages through friends or other indirect means will not be accepted. Note that traveling during the semester is not a legitimate excuse for missing class.
Attendance checks will be conducted sporadically. Being late for class will result in a one-point deduction from your final grade, while missing a class will lead to a two-point deduction. Accumulating three absences may result in failing the course.
3. Late Assignment Submission Policy
