A number of important issues relating insurance will be discussed and analysed. This course will be delivered using a question and answer (Q&A) approach throughout the whole class. Students are required to preview the course materials before attending the class, be ready for answering questions and actively participate in class discussions.

The course is assessed by 3 examination (60%), and oral presentations, and class participation and attendance (40%).
Students are evenly divided into 10 groups for the oral presentation. Each group may have to do the presentation more than once. In the presentation, presentation group needs to present and lead discussion of end-of-chapter application questions for the chapter assigned. It is important to involve and engage students in the discussion.
