International communication and international relations are closely related. This course is designed to introduce the linkage between the two disciplines and professions, so as to provide our students with opportunities to study more during their stay in National Chengchi University. I will add a detailed teaching manual as I have done over the years. Previously, most students who had signed up this course were seniors, that is, the final year's students who prepared to continue their graduate study or pursued their career after graduation. Therefore, the course was prepared to meet these general demands. However, more and more first year's students came to attend this class, probably because they felt that the combination of the two disciplines in an inter-disciplinary approach suited their request for the study of liberal arts and other comprehensive courses, particularly in the age of AI and Metaverse. This has provided new opportunities for our students and faculties. A new frontier of knowledge awaits our exploration and careful study indeed.
