本課程旨在讓研究生瞭解檔案數位化的重要性、技術和挑戰，並培養學生在實際研究中進行檔案數位化工作的能力。在本次專題中，學生將學習有關檔案數位化的徵集、整理、保存、分析的一系列流程，同時了解檔案數位化在資訊服務中的加值應用。在本課程中，將介紹文字探勘、社會網絡分析與資料視覺化等數位化工具，透過數位人文案例與軟體實作，學生能夠學習如何有效運用資訊科技輔助人文研究，以系統化的方式開發知識內容，達到數位加值與策展的目標。
