亞歷山大大帝「世界一家」的願景使其所征服之廣大疆域中之不同地區的宗教及思想，產生了互動與融合，型塑出別具一格的「希臘化文化」，其不僅在歷史研究上自有意趣，亦是了解早期基督宗教的重要文化脈絡。本課程將依據主題介紹希臘化文化豐富紛雜的面貌。
能力項目說明
1.本課程在於建立學生對於上古時期希臘化世界特徵之了解，特別是作為希臘化文化底蘊的宗教與哲學思想。
2.訓練學生閱讀與分析原始史料。
3.藉由小組討論，讓學生學習口語表達、組織邏輯，並接納不同角度的意見。
