You will give an individual oral report and a group presentation during the semester. The grading rubric for the speaking tasks is available on the class website.

Video task (2-3 minutes): Choose a book or a movie or simly tell your personal anecdote and give your reflections. The video should be around 2-3 minutes, and it can be a pair work or work with 3 people as a team. It could be in any form, either straightforward chit-chat with your teammates or a creative approach for the task.

Group presentation: You and three other students will give a presentation based on the topic of your own choice. The presentation should be approximately 10-12 minutes. Students will be scored individually based on their ability and preparation; however, part of the presentation marks will be the same for each one in the group. More details will be provided in class.

    Written assignments

Students will be scored individually based on the following, but not limited to: ability to react to the partner's questions and to speak for an extended period of time without hesitation, deviation or repetition. More details will be announced in class.
