This is a two-term course. The first term covers the basic concepts of statistics and the most commonly applied methods of statistical analysis including elementary probability, normal distributions, and basic one-sample estimation and hypothesis testing. The second term covers two-sample estimation and hypothesis testing, simple and multiple linear regressions, one-factor analysis of variance, and analysis of categorical data.
