In this course, "Capstone: Generative AI," we will delve into the exciting world of Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI). Generative AI refers to a subset of AI that focuses on creating or generating content, such as text, images, or even entire scenarios, using machine learning models. Throughout the course, we will introduce you to various aspects of generative AI, including state-of-the-art text-to-text and text-to-video models. Additionally, we believe in bridging the gap between academia and industry, so we will bring in experienced industrial lecturers who will share real-world pain points and challenges they face in their respective fields. By the end of the course, you will not only understand the fundamentals of generative AI but also have the opportunity to apply this knowledge to address practical industrial issues, offering innovative solutions through the power of AI.

    課程目標與學習成效Course Objectives & Learning Outcomes

    The aim of this course is to teach the application of generative AI technology for solving real-world problems in collaboration with three companies. Throughout the course, these companies will assign representatives to the classroom who will introduce their business models, operational challenges, expectations for generative AI, and actively participate in weekly course activities. The results of this course will not only be showcased during the ICI Joint-presentation but also submitted to the participating enterprises if the quality of the work is recognized.
