課程簡介Course Description

等候理論在作業研究上所扮演的角色日益重要，等候理論已成為理工學院學生學習數位通訊、存貨管理及其他隨機系統的數量方法。本課程的目的在於介紹等候理論的數學基礎，並建立一些應用上的基本觀念，以作為日後解決實際問題的有效工具。

    • Basic concepts and notations; 第一週到第三週
    • Brief discussion in stochastic processes; 第四週到第八週
    • Birth-Death Process: simple queueing models M/M/1, M/M/1/K and M/M/∞, etc. and their numerical solutions; 第九週到第十一週
    • Neuts phase type approach; 第十二週到第十四週
    • Embedded Markov Chains for M/G/1 and GI/M/1; 第十五週
    • Models of Simulation; 第十六週以後
