Intermediate Functional Modern Standard Arabic is designed so that students will combine homework preparation and out of class learning of new issues with class time spent on reading short texts and doing exercises.

Emphasis is on basic reading comprehension skills in FMSA. Students will be trained to acquire the following skills:
1) Intermediate grammar and vocabulary of FMSA.
2) Reading and translating simple FMSA texts.
Each session (three academic hours) will consist of two main elements:

Final Exam (written) (65%).
