拉岡（Jacques Lacan）1966年的《文集》（Écrits）總結其1950年至1966年講座教學之大成，舉凡「無意識與意符結構之關係」、「主體與大他者之慾望辯證」、「話語功能」以及「知識與真理之分裂」等觀點，均已在當中鋪陳。其對當代精神分析理論與拉岡思想之研究的重要性，早已不言而喻。然而，嚴格言之，《文集》並非著作，而是「精神分析師論述」（discours psychanaliste）的「講述」產物。因此，必須從拉岡所謂的「書寫文字」（écrits）功能出發，才能精確地傳達拉岡這些書寫所試圖圍堵出來的精神分析知識的空洞。
本課程將從《文集》的閱讀出發，探討精神分析從佛洛伊德到拉岡所經歷的理論發展與演變。

本課程旨在透過對拉岡已出版與未出版之文本進行批評閱讀與整理，從精神分析歷史與理論脈絡建立拉岡精神分析研究之基礎。
