課程簡介Course Description

This course explores the dynamic and evolving language teacher education (LTE) and professional development (PD) fields. Over 16 weeks, the course is divided into two modules: (a) tools for teacher learning and (b) cutting-edge topics and issues. It includes a blend of theoretical exploration and practical application, with a focus on reflective practice and community engagement.

    Intended learning outcome:

    (a) tools for teacher learning: a reflection of microlearning

    (b) cutting-edge topics and issues: a data-supported position paper

     

     

    By the end of the course, students will be able to

    1. effectively identify and articulate the strengths and weaknesses of tools for language teacher learning  
    2. articulate informed arguments on an LTE or PD issue within a specific context
    3. visualize and present theoretical or academic knowledge via graphic organizers and infographics  
    4. analyze and evaluate research papers focused on LTE and PD, demonstrating an understanding of research methodologies, findings, and their implications in the field
