This course is designed to provide students with professional training encompassing both theoretical principles and practical applications in TESOL.

In pursuit of the stated goals, students will cultivate a robust theoretical foundation in key areas, including, but not limited to, Translingualism, World Englishes, Bilingualism, Teaching and Practices in Reading, Writing, Speaking, and Listening, Identity/Language Ownership, Professional Development for Teachers, Assessment and Feedback, Methods and Methodologies, Self-regulated Learning, and the integration of Technology in Teaching/Learning.
Course Objectives: By the end of the semester, students are expected to
Understand both theoretical frameworks and practical methodologies in TEFL.
be equipped with the knowledge and skills to conduct empirical research and analyze data to reflect upon the applied research framework.
be enabled to apply the learned knowledge effectively in informing and enriching their language teaching practices.
