This course is designed to introduce students to the development and transformation of business in Spanish-speaking countries. In the course, students will learn specialized terminology and how to use this terminology in real situations. We will also study a wide variety of written and oral Spanish economic, financial, and commercial texts. This way, students will improve their Spanish reading, listening, and writing skills.

The goal of this course is to enable students to get to know business Spanish and strengthen students’ reading, listening, and writing skills through various business texts. Students are expected to learn about business in Spain and other Spanish-speaking countries, and learn vocabulary in Spanish related to companies, business, marketing, human resources, purchasing and sales, import and export trade, banking, stock market, and taxes.
