This course will introduce students to the practical aspects of teaching English as foreign language. The curriculum and pedagogy of teaching English to secondary students in Taiwan will be the primary focus of the course. It will cover practical topics like lesson planning, exam design, classroom management, and how to effectively teach reading, vocabulary, grammar, listening, speaking, and writing. Students will have the chance to observe secondary English classes, practice teaching, and attend post-teaching conferences. All students must complete their classroom observations and teaching practice at one of our partner schools.
註1:本科目是碩大合開的課程,大學部選修同學必須先修過「英語教學理論」或「英語教材教法」。
註2:因開學第1週將會安排國高中合作事項,因此第1週未到課同學,皆不接受加選,遞補上的同學也建議退選。
