本課程旨在讓修習者瞭解政治傳播的理論與實務，包括政治傳播各個面向：媒體系統與政治系統、政治傳播行為者、政治傳播過程、政治傳播效果。

本課程期望從理論與時事討論帶領學生從政治傳播的視角更進一步瞭解政治傳播事務，並從中培養學生的閱讀能力、寫作能力與口語表述能力與團隊合作能力。
