The main goal of the course is to examine key theoretical perspectives in the field of strategy and related organizational theory (OT) literature. The course is designed to enable students to formulate research questions and requires the submission of a term paper as a final assignment.

    Knowledge

    1. Gain an understanding of different theoretical perspectives that underlie strategy research.
    2. Comprehend the research questions, key assumptions, theoretical development, critical findings, and limitations of published papers in the field of strategy.

     

    Skills

    1. Ability to assess, interpret, and provide constructive feedback on theoretical and empirical research presented in strategy papers.
    2. Ability to generate meaningful and engaging research questions, construct testable hypotheses or propositions, and execute appropriate research methodologies.
