課程簡介Course Description

In academia, strategy is the study of achieving superior performance under competition. In practice, strategy consists of a set of decisions and activities that guide an organization's long-term development. The main objective of this seminar is to introduce doctoral students to the fundamental theories and issues in strategic management research.

    • Understand the major theoretical perspectives in the strategy literature.
    • Understand how to evaluate strategy research papers in terms of research questions, key assumptions, theoretical development, critical findings, and limitations.
    • Develop the ability to formulate proper research questions, develop testable hypotheses or propositions, and conduct empirical research.
