The Virtual Business Professional (VBP) Project initiated by the University of Southern California (USC) is designed to offer undergraduate students in business communication classes an opportunity to collaborate and work in a virtual setting with students from all over the world.
During the week-long project, students will develop cultural competencies, collaboration, and leadership skills in a global village and work with new technologies – all high on the list of skills in the new post-pandemic workplace environment. Students are put in a team of 5-6 people to work on a consulting project. The top 3 team projects are submitted to the company. The consulting projects in the past are the projects for Amazon, Audi, Google, and Starbucks.
There will be three local meetings. Students who take this course must attend.
