Course Outline:
Intermediate Writing gives learners an insight into the business world by exposing them to the knowledge of English language skills, especially in the area of writing skills, to be better prepared for the working world. Learners will also receive academic writing training to develop the ability to produce well-organized and logical essays. Apart from business models and academic writing training, there will be a weekly session focusing on business news review; it aims to develop and raise students’ business awareness through weekly business news review and their ability to engage in discussions of current business issues freely and immediately.

Course Objectives:
This course aims to reinforce learners’ ability of basic writing and communication skills in different business settings and to better learners become effective communicators in today’s wired and mobile workplace. It also aims to enhance learners’ academic writing skills to prepare them for more advanced academic opportunities and studies.
