課程簡介Course Description

This course is designed to teach master's and doctoral students in social science how to create and teach classes using various strategies, write academic journal papers, and submit journal manuscripts for publication. The course has a tight schedule and a learning-by-doing process; each student will follow each week’s topic and complete their research step by step. Knowing the relationship between teaching and publishing is typically not taught in college education; this pilot course guides master's and doctoral students to explore and equip their capacities for teaching and publishing. Because publication results are crucial in the academic career, balancing publishing papers and teaching loads is necessary to adapt to a scholar's career and facilitate the positive cycle of teaching and publishing.
