This course mainly teaches the background knowledge and characteristics of "urban design", the legal rank of urban design, the role of urban designers, urban space patterns in different periods, the influence of urban land on urban design, urban design theory, and urban design tools and management, overview of urban renewal, urban design review system, urban design cases and future trends of urban design (sustainable city).
本課程主要講授「都市設計」的背景知識與特質、都市設計的法律位階、都市設計師的角色、各時期的都市空間型態、都市土地對於都市設計的影響、都市設計理論、都市設計的工具與管理、都市更新概述、都市設計審議制度、都市設計案例及都市設計的未來趨勢(永續都市)。

This course is expected to achieve the following objectives:
1. To help students understand the relationship between urban planning and urban design.
2. To help students acquire the skills and theories of urban design.
本課程預期將可以達到以下目標：
1.使學生瞭解都市計劃與都市設計的相互關係。
