This course is designed to help our students to understand how international business and international relations interact. It is an interdisciplinary integrative approach to combine several subjects, such as international relations, international political economy and international business, to meet the need of social science training. I have prepared a comprehensive teaching manual as attached. I will teach according to the manual, that is, explain the basic concepts, answer the questions as listed in the manual and, then, encourage students to express their views and raise qiestions. Discussions will follow and I will make concluding remarks or point out the prospects for further studies. Please refer to the manual for further details.

As the teaching manual indicates, students will have good opportunities to study international relations together with international political economy and international business. The course is scientifically sound and socially relevant, that is, the class will be counducted according to the basic requirements of humanities and social sciences together with a deep care for the needs of students and the academic reputation of the university. Therefore, theories, cases and practical experiences will be covered with a future perspective in the age of AI. Please refer to the manual for further details.

Students will have boh the mid-term and final examinations. They are also free to write a short essay on a topic of their own choice together with answering only two questions in the examination. If students prefer to write a long essay to substitute the mid-term or final examinations, it is also acceptable.
