This course introduces the current literature of national and international reforms and debates in the context of education. Educational policies and practices across varied educational levels in Taiwan and other counties would be the main source of learning materials and students will be requiring to actively participate in the class discussion and team presentation to deepen their critical reflexivity on the topics and issues of concerned.

1. understand the national and global trend of educational reform
2. demonstrate their critical argumentation in regard to the debate of educational reform
3. work with their peer to present their original thoughts, criticism and suggestion regarding the issue introduced
