The course is designed to educate students concerning the global context in which business is conducted. It will increase students’ awareness of key economic, political, and legal issues that affect business on a global scale. It will expose students to different analytical perspectives for understanding the increasingly complex sociopolitical environment.

Caveat This is a demanding course. Students are expected to read the assigned materials before the class. There will be cold calls in lecture weeks or case discussions. The grade will be adversely affected when the students cannot respond properly. Points will also be deducted for students who disturb class orders.
