This is an introductory course for finance, we will cover the following topics:

We will have homework for each chapter except chapter 1, a midterm exam (following school schedule) and a final exam (following school schedule). There will be no make-up exam unless you have a legit reason (ask me to see if it is legit).
The grading breakdown:
Homework: 20%
Midterm: 40%
Final: 40%
Note: Exam grades will be curved.

Jordan, Westerfield, Ross (2023) Essentials of Corporate Finance, 11th Edition, McGraw-Hill.
It is also essential to own a financial calculator. TI BA II Plus is recommended.

若單買 Connect Plus 卡一份 1,200 元
Connect 網站使用期限為開卡後一年，內容包含一本電子課本（只限網上閱讀，無法下載）。
我們會在加退選結束確定選課人數後做人數統計，然後大家可以在政大書城購買。
不願意使用這個網站的同學可以選修其他的 sessions，如果在上課前想要試試看的話可以使用免費的兩個星期試用序號來設定帳號，我會在第一次上課後把第二章的作業放在上面當範例。建議各位在第一次上課聽我介紹之後立刻開通試用序號，這樣在買正式帳號之後可以無縫接軌。
使用這個網站可以自動批改各位同學的作業，所以跟一般課程不同的地方在於大家在作業截止日之前可以無限次嘗試，直到全部做對為止（網站可以在作答之後檢查回覆每個答案是否正確）。截止時間原則上是上課前十分鐘（期中、期末考前會提前該次作業截止日一至兩天），電腦會把到那個時間為止各位同學最好的上傳結果作為該次作業分數，然後在下課的時候自動公布答案。
