The course is designed to develop students’ skills in constructing the basic Indonesian language, both in written and spoken forms, and students’ understanding of cultural aspects of the Indonesian language. In this course, the students will have opportunities to build the skills to recognize, describe and identify basic Indonesian structures, use appropriate vocabulary in constructing simple sentences, apply Indonesian simple sentence structure correctly, and write simple sentences and short passages on familiar topics within the limit of basic vocabulary and grammar acquired in this course.
