波斯語是伊朗的官方語言。全世界使用此語言的人口超過一億。此課程會先複習波斯語字母與標點符號，再加強學生的波斯語造句和對話、以及聽力。為波斯語之入門課程。

成效：修此課程之學生將學會初級的波斯語閱讀、書寫及口語能力。

Week 2: Persian male and female names with mining.
Week 3: Simple sentence; including the order of sentence, interrogative, negative, affirmative. (The be verb present tense)
Week 4: Numbers (cardinal and ordinal) and numbers plus nouns
Week 5: Different types of plural nouns
Week 6: Compliments and etiquette
Week 7: demonstrative pronouns and adjectives in sentences
Week 8: advance genitive types + shapes
Week 9: mid-term exam
Week 10: Simple past tense + prepositions
Week 11: Imperative sentences + direct object
Week 12: Simple present tense (other than be verb)
Week 13: week days and time related sentences.
Week 14: Compound verb (past tense and present tense)
Week 15: Transitive and intransitive verbs
Week 16: place suffix + family members
Week 17: pseudo sentence + opposite adjectives
Week 18: final exam
