This course is designed to nurture a future scholar in the marketing discipline as an independent researcher. With this aim, students are asked to develop their research questions/hypotheses, design a survey/experiment, collect, analyze, and interpret data. At the end of this semester, students will be ready to present their findings at an international academic conference and have a working paper targeted to a journal.
能力項目說明
Students are required to read a minimum of two papers from top marketing journals weekly. Students are required to come up with at least one discussion question from each paper, and submit them one day before our seminar. Students must be “ready” to discuss with me during our meeting.

Students will be able to empirically test and validate their hypotheses by using an appropriate research method (e.g., explorative, descriptive, or causal paradigm).
