In this course, we invited academic speakers of outstanding academic records to give seminars on their current research interests. Detailed schedule will be announced at the beginning of each semester.

Topics of seminars include financial engineering, asset pricing, econometrics, corporate finance, management of financial institutions etc. Students are encouraged to interact in class discussions, and this course aims to provide them with an international horizon of academic excellence and to inspire PhD students with further research ideas.

Detailed schedule will be announced at the beginning of each semester. Topics of seminars include financial engineering, asset pricing, econometrics, corporate finance, management of financial institutions etc.
Students are required to fully participate in the seminar, to interact with the presenter, and to discuss after the talk with the presenter about his/her research ideas. Students are also required to submit five written reports at the end of this course, which are in the form of referee reports required by academic journals. In these reports, students must demonstrate his/her understanding of the research topic, and he/she must act as a journal referee to provde an indepth discussion togehter with major and minor comments on the artcle.
