課程簡介Course Description

本課程之設計乃在裝備學生具備思辨與獨立研究能力,透過閱讀和討論促進學生對於社會科學哲學中的本體論和認識論有更深入的認識和理解,在方法論則分別於質性研究和量化研究兩種取向,就質性研究五大學門和量化研究過程中的方法議題,以實證研究文章協助學生學習如何應用研究方法。

    1.了解哲學思潮和社會科學的發展歷史。

    2.認識知識的本體論和認識論的基本概念。

    3.深入探究質性研究相關的主要五大學門(現象學、民誌學、符號互動論、詮釋學、建構論)在知識的本體論、認識論和方法論上的取向及運用。

    4.深入探究量化研究中的研究設計、測量、資料蒐集、和研究倫理之運用和議題

    5.使學生能夠判別各種研究方法之適用狀況並知道如何選擇。

    6.使學生能夠獨立規劃與執行研究。

    課程要求 3

    每位學生應於課前讀完指定的文章以充分參與課堂上之討論、並完成課程之要求。課程要求分為三部分:

    課程報告就課程指定閱讀資料進行分工於課堂中進行摘要報告並提出問題和心得

    期中報告 ---選擇一個研究議題檢閱適用的研究方法5頁篇幅撰寫議題梗概過去相關研究採用的研究方法、和論述報告的緣起和內涵大綱。

    期末報告 ---延續期中報告之內容選擇一個研究議題檢閱適用的研究方法進行文獻檢閱、批判、和論述 報告長度約15頁並應依照美國 APA之專業文章格式

    期末成績依下列三項評定:
