這門課計一學期三學分，先介紹影視民族學╱人類學(Visual Anthropology)之歷 史及理論發展，並觀看、分析、討論本學科發展過程中之重要影片；接著就原 住民自身攝影等不同主題觀看、分析、討論相關影片，並練習拍攝民族誌影片。
能力項目說明
1. 理解影視民族學緣由與發展歷史
2. 理解影視民族學重要理論，並觀看分析經典民族誌影片
3. 理解民族學研究方法，並能欣賞多元文化
4. 理解民族誌影片拍攝的基本理念與技術
5. 進行田野調查，完成主題影片拍攝
若認真學習，可以培養以下能力： 批判思考、理解尊重異文化、田野調查、團隊合作、行動實踐
