正向心理學主要目的是在幫助個體追求快活的人生(Pleasant life)、美好的人生(Good life)與有意義的人生(Meaningful life),進而擁有生命圓滿的幸福。本課程將從情緒取向(emotional approaches)、認知取向(cognitive approaches)、人際取向(interpersonal approaches)、生物學取向(Biological approaches)等取向,探討正向心理學的相關理論、研究與應用。學習過程中,除了配合課程主題內容,須閱讀教科書其相關的期刊論文外,也須進行主題的口頭報告及參與討論;期末也必須繳交一份期末報告。
