課程簡介Course Description

本課程透過越語文化特色讓學生發掘四項進階初級語言技巧。課程著重加強對話技巧、學習實用語法及口語表達之詞彙。

This course is designed to develop four major linguistic skills at upper-elementary level with cultural characteristics reflected in the Vietnamese language. This class is emphasized on the enhancement of conversation skills and to learn practical grammar and vocabulary in spoken language competencies.

    本課程著重提升學生越語口說與流暢溝通,並強調詞彙深意、句型結構及運用流暢對話討論各種主題。選修本課程,學生將建立以下基礎:

    The focus of the course is to improve students’ confidence in Vietnamese speaking and communicating effectively. The main purpose of this class is to provide the deep meaning of vocabulary, sentence structures, and to enable to carry out conversations fluently in various topics. By the end of the semester, students will obtain as follow:

    發音Pronunciation:

    • 運用越南語自然聲調習得標準發音。

    Obtain the perfect pronunciation with natural intonation in Vietnamese language.

    詞彙Vocabulary:

    • 增加日常對話及文化詞彙量。

    Obtain extended basic vocabulary in daily conversations and cultural words.

    • 理解諺語及格言等傳統說法。

    Be able to understand folk words in proverbs and sayings.

    • 辨別南北越的詞彙。

    Distinguish vocabulary by Vietnam North- South regions.

    • 辨認純越語、漢越詞、外來詞或混種詞等詞彙類型之不同處。

    Distinguish types of vocabulary which are pure Vietnamese or Sino-Vietnamese or loanwords or mixed words.

    文法Grammar:

    • 深入理解口語知識,例如:字尾(cả, luôn, cho rồi, kia…);片語( thế thì, thế còn, vậy thì, thôi thì, thế mà, ấy thế mà, chà…);結構( chẳng nhẽ…à?, này…này, …chứ chưa…, nào…ấy,…)

    Understand in-depth the knowledge of spoken language- for example: final particle ( ấy, thì phải, cả, luôn, cho rồi, kia…); initial particle ( thế thì, thế còn, vậy thì, thôi thì, thế mà, ấy thế mà, chà…); phrases ( nghe lỏm, khỏi phải nói, có điều, hẵng, họa chăng,…); structures ( chẳng nhẽ…à?, này…này, …chứ chưa…, nào…ấy,…)

    聽力Listening:

    • 能夠傾聽與理解熟悉的主題之基本對話,包含初級越語,初級越語會話範圍中的詞彙和語法。

    Be able to listen and comprehend spoken discourse in familiar topics within the limits of vocabulary and grammar.

    口說Speaking:

    • 在日常對話中用適當的語調交談,在熟悉的情境中表達自我。

    Converse with appropriate tones in daily life conversations and express oneself in familiar situations.

    • 能夠設計各式主題對話。

    Be able to design creative conversations on various topics.

    閱讀Reading:

    • 在詞彙量範圍內閱讀和辨識日常生活用語表達意思。

    Read and identify the purpose of spoken texts in daily life topics.

    寫作Writing:

    • 能夠在基礎詞彙和語法範圍內,於熟悉主題中撰寫更完整的句子,段落與文化報告,例如傳統節日,旅遊經驗,自我表達等。

    Be able to write longer sentences, passages and cultural reports in a wide range of topics - for example: festivals, experiences, expressions, description…

    文化知識Cultural knowledge:

    • 透過使用基本生活用語獲取文化知識, 例如河內大劇院,雄王節日,越南農曆新年等。

    Acquire cultural knowledge through the use of spoken Vietnamese language at upper- elementary level with regards to Hanoi Opera House, Hùng Kings' Festival, Vietnamese lunar new year…

    越語檢定標準Vietnamese language proficiency level:

    評量工具與策略、評分標準成效Evaluation Criteria

    學生需於課前將詞彙記熟,文法與閱讀複習,以便於課堂上進行討論與練習。課堂作業繳交將以寄送E-mail方式交予講師。最終成績將依以下4個部分判定:
    Students are responsible for memorizing vocabulary, reviewing grammar, and reading materials before class in order to reserve valuable in-class time for oral practice. All assignments are sent to the instructor's email prior to the deadlines. The final grades are determined by 4 parts as following:
    出席率與參與度(討論,角色扮演, 課堂活動,截止日期): 40%
    Attendance and participation (interpreting, discussion, role-playing, in-class activities, meeting deadlines)
    每週作業(聽,寫): 40%
    Weekly homework (listening-writing)
    期中考試(問答,寫): 10%
    Midterm exam: Speaking - Writing
    組別報告(越南文化的題目):10%
    Group presentation (topics of Vietnam culture)
