課程大綱 Course Description

1. Angular Momentum (cont.)
angular momentum addition; Young tableaux for SU(2)

2. Central Potential
solution of rotationally invariant problems (bound states); the hydrogen atom

3. Introduction to Relativistic Quantum Mechanics
special relativity(review); Klein-Gordon equation; Dirac equation; fine structure of hydrogen

4. Approximation Methods for Bound States
time-independent perturbation theory; variational method

5. Time-Dependent Phenomena
the interaction picture; time-dependent perturbation theory; Fermi’s golden rule

6. Scattering
time-dependent description of scattering; time-independent description of scattering

7. Many-Particle Systems

上課進度 Class schedule

原則上兩三週進行一主題

老師課堂講述為主,另外每位學生須選擇一主題作期末口頭報告
